Manual therapy assists with addressing musculoskeletal injuries, scar tissue or myofascial restriction by stimulating the healing process, breaking down scar tissue and accelerating your recovery.

 

Scar tissue may result from overuse, problematic biomechanics, trauma or surgery and can interfere with movement and cause pain.

Manual therapy techniques:

• Instrumented Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

• Myofascial decompression (i.e. cupping)

• Soft Tissue and Connective Tissue Mobilization (using hands)

• Joint mobilization
